also i found out today that there is no such thing as privately hunting pokemon like if you’re on PokemonGo people fucking PokemonKNOW
i had a walmart employee walk past me and just say “let me guess, pokemon go?”
i was wandering around a movie theater parking lot looking for an abra and some guy drove buy shouting out his car “GOTTA CATCH EM ALL”

It honestly does happen. I had someone yell team mystic at me because I was taking their gym (I’m team valor)
Seriously it happened today with @trishadash we said f it and just started chanting “valor valor valor” everytime we passed someone playing.
I was walking through my complex and my upstairs neighbor yelled from the balcony when he saw me walking back to my apartment, “AYE YOU CATCH THAT SQUIRTLE THAT WAS HERE LIKE TWENTY MINUTES AGO???”
I was trying to catch a Gastly on this nature trail in the woods and these middle school age boys fucking SCREAMED from like a 100 some odd yards away “ARE YOU PLAYING POKEMON GO?”
“YEAH?”
“ARE YOU LOOKING FOR GASTLY?”
“YES WHERE THE HECK IS IT I’M GOING BANANAS.”
“I DUNNO, BUT THERE’S A SQUIRTLE HERE TOO.“
i’m taking summer courses at a college and everyone has been playing pokemon go between classes. one guy walked out of the building the other day and immediately saw me and a bunch of other kids playing and was like “wait….are you all playing pokemon go too?!” students have been walking around in packs playing together. even one of the security guards was playing.
Last night after I closed up shop I was playing and this dude yelled from his car, “Pokemon go?” And I replied with a, “hell yeah!” As he drove away. I also get customers who walk into the store playing it and ask them which Pokemon are in the store.
I’m a preschool teacher and half the teachers are playing it!
My boss who isn’t very social has actually become more involved with customers cause he is also a Pokemon Go enthusiast …. it really is a way for people to connect and I love it!
